Bodies of two women found

The Police have discovered the bodies of two elderly women in Kankesanthurai and Galle.

Kankesanthurai Police found the body of a woman aged 80 near the Ponkalei pond adjoining Keeramale Kovil. The woman about 4'8" in height with gray hair, was attired in a white jacket and a saree with a design of green flowers. The body was sent to Jaffna teaching hospital morgue.

The other body was found floating in a canal near Makuluwa Ganga in Galle.

The woman about 65 years and 4'6" in height, was attired in a T-shirt and a skirt.

The body was sent to Karapitiya hospital morgue.
