Ampara and Ratnapura FL clash in final at Kalmunai

Ampara Football League and Ratnapura Football League will vie in the final for the Senior Football League Champions Trophy at Kalmunai Public Ground at 3.30 pm today.

The tournament organized by the Football Federation of Sri Lanka ( FFSL ) was held between 44 league teams. Ampara FL overcame Vavuniya FL by 5-2, Mannar FL by 3-0 ( W/O ), Jaffnal FL by 4-3, Trincomalee FL by 4-3 and Kurunegala FL by 1-0 to enter the final.

Ratanpura FL did well to qualify for the final when they defeated Badulla FL by 4-2, SL Air Force by 1-0, Dehiwala / Mount Lavinia FL by 5-0 and Matale FL by 1-0.

The organizers said the winners and runner up team will receive attractive cash prizes apart from the trophies and medals.
