Step 1 |
There are several varieties in this pose. You can perform this pose
while lying down or standing.
The variation which requires you to lie down is difficult and can be
practiced by someone who has done yoga for a long time. Therefore we are
presenting to you how the asana is done standing.
Step 1: Stand on the mat. Spread your legs a little and keep the
right leg slightly in front of the left. Your hands should be stretched
out behind you with the palms facing downwards. Breathe in and out. Now
bend forward. Stay in this pose for a few seconds.
Step 2: Breathe out and bend further forward as far as you can
manage. Try to touch your forehead with your right knee cap. Stay in
this pose for about three to five minutes. Relax. Perform this asana to
the left leg as well.
