Avurudu Goodies and treats

Every year the celebration of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year brings hope of new beginnings and fresh promises, as Sri Lankans of all backgrounds, living side by side come together on this delightful festive season.

Paying homage to the festive season, Goodies of Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo plans to capture the essence and spirit of Avurudu with a range of Sinhala and Tamil New year sweetmeats packed in two special hampers available for the diner's convenience.

The first hamper consists of the traditional sweets such as Konda Kawum, Athiraha, Mung Athiraha, Asmi, Kalu Dodol, Thalaguli and Milk Toffee, while the second hamper consists of the same items in larger quantities.

Tourists and locals alike enjoy these traditional sweetmeats that are prepared by skilled chefs.

Goodies is open from 7.30 am until 9pm and the Avurudu Sweetmeat Hampers will be available from April 8 to the 19.
