UA launches comprehensive mobile website

Union Assurance (UA) recently launched a comprehensive mobile website for its customers. This is yet another service enhancement by UA, keeping the changing environment and the changing needs of the consumer in mind.

Customers are able to log into the mobile website (www.unionassurance.com) and purchase Union Motor and Union travel insurance instantly, from their mobile phones.

This do-it-yourself solution has the possibility to report an accident when on the road quickly and easily. Customers will also find staying in touch as easy as tapping their mobile screens, with the site quickly giving the locations of the closest UA branches in real time.

The UA mobile friendly website uses various technologies which have been adopted on the web that allows the product to adapt to any environment. Whether a browser is visiting www.unionassurance.com on Android or iOS platforms, the website will instantly respond to the device.

"More Sri Lankans are rapidly accessing services via their mobile phone," said Ruwan Bakmeedeniya, General Manager IT at Union Assurance. "We thought a mobile friendly website was not only timely but a majorly relevant requirement to all our customers."

Customer will have access to this mobile website 24x7x365 days a year, with multiple insurance packages to choose from and easily accessible information, all available while on the go.

UA was also the only Sri Lankan insurer to be shortlisted in the Asia Insurance UA received the Best Insurer Technology award at the Asia Technology awards ceremony conducted by Asia Insurance Review in 2012.
