Visitha, Uvindu shine in Anthony's win

Two main contributions by Visitha Saranga and Uvindu Ishara steered St Anthony's College, Wattala to a 30-run win over Karunaratne Buddhist College, Ragama in their inter-school under 13 Division III match played at the St Anthony's College grounds recently.

Saranga batted superbly scoring 85 in just 44 balls with 10 fours and half a dozen sixes in his brisk innings. Anthony's All-rounder Uvindu Ishara scored 35 runs and he had a fine spell as he picked up three wickets for 47 runs.

Batting first, Anthony's scored 259 in the 48 overs and they bowled out Karunaratne Buddhist College for 229 in 42.1 overs. For Buddhist College, Kavindu Bulesha scored 79 runs with 10 fours. Abhishek Vimukthi hit 53 in 46 balls.
