Kasun’s ton put Vazians in command

Kasun Vidura scored a brilliant 124 runs which consisted of nine fours and six sixes and occupying the crease for 107 minutes and facing 101 balls put Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa in a commanding position in their inter-school under 19 cricket match against Zahira College, Colombo and played at Maradana.

Electing to bat Vazians scored 272 runs and the other contributors are Rukshan Shehan 28, Yeomal Perera 24 and Primas Obris 26, Mohomed Wazim was the most successful bowler for Zahirians with 4 for 95. When the stumps were drawn on day one at 4.20 pm homesters were 24 for no loss.
