Kudu Dhammika in Police net

A wanted drug dealer called Kudu Dhammika was arrested with 600 ganja packets in his possession at Hanthana in Kandy.

Acting on a tip off received by SP Mahinda Serasingha, Kandy Police anti-fraud bureau arrested the suspect. He had purchased ganja wholesale from Monaragala and had been distributing them at Rs 300 each a packet in the Kandy district.

The suspect had been found guilty for the same offense on several earlier occasions as well, the Police sources said. The suspect will produced before the Kandy magistrate today.
