Kirinda-Puhulwella development underway

The government has taken steps to develop the Kirinda-Puhulwella Divisional Secretatiat Division area. The development of infrastructure facilities have been given top priority. This includes the improvement of undeveloped rural roads, provision of water and electricity facilities, enhancement of facilities in pre-schools and other basic amenities for residents.

The Planning Division of the Kirinda- Puhulwella Divisional Secretariat Office sources said most development activities scheduled for the previous year have already been completed.

The Economic Development Ministry provided funds on the request of Matara District Parliamentarian Hemal Gunasekara.
