GCE O-L special exam this weekend

The special examination for several subjects for GCE Ordinary Level examination candidates who were unable to sit for the examination due to the recent inclement weather will be held on February 9,10 and 11, Examinations Department sources said.

The sources said around 2,000 candidates will sit the special examination.

Examination Commissioner General Jayantha Pushpakumara requested candidates to contact the Examinations Branch of the Examination Department immediately to receive their examination admission cards.

He said the examination will be conducted in 50 examination centres in Matale, Kandy, Kurunegala, Chilaw and Monaragala districts.
