Symposium

An International symposium on Polymer Science and Technology 2012, in collaboration with Industries, Institutions and Universities (IIUPST 2012) commenced yesterday at the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo, organised by the Department of Chemistry, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

The aim of the symposium is to merge academia and polymer industry on a common platform to exchange information and novel ideas to enhance research and development.

The symposium is expected to embrace many professionals, more than 200 participants from Sri Lanka and throughout the world.

Senior Minister for International Monetary Co-operation Dr. Sarath Amunugama was the Chief Guest and Minister of Higher Education, S B. Dissanayake was the Guest of Honour.
