EXIDE embarks on campaign to reiterate its No. 1 position

Battery market leader EXIDE recently launched a campaign to reiterate its strong positioning as the No. 1 battery of Sri Lanka. This is a result of clear focus and concentration on Browns' leadership in terms of prospering and building remarkable brands for the nation.

Based on the insight that the people of this nation too can be No.1s in everything they do just by associating with the No.1 battery brand, the campaign is carried out. EXIDE today stands proud of its heritage and the trust it has built over the years in the minds of its customers.

Exide, with a 56% market share, the global brand's top-of-mind recall was proven further when it became the only battery brand that was awarded Superbrand Status. The brand was further recognized as one of the top 10 brands in Sri Lanka at the SLIM-Neilson People's Awards in 2010. EXIDE also entered the top 100 unlisted club of brands in April 2012, ranking 16th, as per the latest 'Sri Lanka's Leading Brands' list by Brand Finance in Sri Lanka - making it the only battery brand listed in the unlisted brands of Sri Lanka under the auto parts category.
