"Support President's development effort'

The people of the North Central Province should exercise their votes
carefully at the forthcoming election and elect a strong UPFA group of
Provincial Council members to strengthen President Mahinda Rajapaksa's
hands in his national development effort, said UPFA candidate S.M.
Ranjith.
He was addressing a UPFA election meeting at Kurundankulama organized
by the SLFP District Youth Organization on Tuesday.
Ranjith said certain international forces helped by Eelam
sympathizers are attempting to bring another anti-Sri Lanka motion
before the November UNHRC session to undermine the country's progress.
The People should help defeat such conspiracies by giving a
resounding victory to the UPFA at the forthcoming election to show the
world that they are firmly behind the President and his policies.
Ranjith who said that opposition candidates contesting the NCP election
had already accepted defeat at the hands of the UPFA, requested the
people to elect members who would spurn bribery and corruption.
