SLTS provide ICT solution to NYCSL

SLTS CEO, Prasanna Perera and Chairman, Lalith Peum Perera of National Youth Council exchanging the agreement

Sri Lanka Telecom Service, which is a fully own subsidiary of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC signed an agreement with the National Youth Council of Sri Lanka (NYCSL) to provide IT networking solutions recently.

The Chairman, Lalith Peum Perera of National Youth Council and the Chief Executive Officer of the Sri Lanka Telecom Services, Prasanna Perera were the chief guests at the occasion.

Speaking at the event CEO, SLTS, Prasanna Perera said that SLTS will be implementing a CISCO based fibre network for the entire premises of the National Youth Council, which is located at Maharagama..

The Chairman, Lalith Peum Perera said that the National Youth Council has decided to upgrade the ICT infrastructure,with the latest state-of-the-art network provided by the Sri Lanka Telecom Services, in order to enhance the ICT capabilities of the council.

The National Youth Council has to facilitate a number of training programmes and events to uplift the youth of this county and therefore, IT is an essential part.
