Kamaghta Karate Competition

The 6th Kamaghta Karate Challenge Trohy 2012, organized by the Chief Advisor Sensei T.N.K. Perera of the Japan Seigokai Karate Do Sri Lankan Branch will be held on August 4 and 5 at the Nelum Royal Court , Hide Park Corner , Colombo 7.

The main objective of the tournament is to enhance physical and mental development of the Karate players in Sri Lanka and train them for the international karate Competition of this series which will be held on August 11, at 9.00 a.m. at the Western Province Aesthetic Resort followed by the awards ceremony at 4.00 p.m. under the patronage of the Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne and the president of Japan Seigokai Karate Do Sensei Mr. Isamu Kamagata .

The Kamaghta Karate Challenge Trophy Competition will be held under the age groups . 12 13,14,15,16,17 and 18 years including d Katha, Kumite and all the Black Belt events. The winners will be awarded in Bronze, Silver and Gold medals respectively. The competitors who take part in this event will get an opportunity to involve in training course with Sensei Kamagata revealed tournament information officer P Jayawardane.
