Cambrians win by 35 runs

Prince of Wales College beat Nalanda College, Colombo by 35 runs in their inter-school Under-17 Division One Cricket Tournament match played at Moratuwa. Taking the first lease Cambrians made 166 runs with Suchira Fernando and Kusal Mendis scoring 34 and 33 runs respectively.

In reply Nalandians were all out for 131 runs. Prince of Wales: 166 in 34 overs (Suchira Fernando 34, Kusal Mendis 33, Janeesha Fernando 29, Hasitha Lanka 21, Avishka de Silva 2/33, Pramod Hettiwatte 2/27, Malinga de Silva 3/20, Rashmika Vidyanga 2/21).

Nalanda: 131 in 32.3 overs ( Thenura Amerasinghe 22, Thenura Perera 26, Rashmika Vidyanga 34, Lahiru Wijeratne 24, Jayanga Peiris 2/26, Thilan Nimesh 3/35).
