Feast of St Anthony of Padua

The flag hoisting ceremony of St Anthony of Padua at St Anthony's Church, Kollupitya, was held on June 17, with the participation of Rev Fr Mano Kumaran, Catholic nuns, members of the Parish Council, Choristers, Sunday School children and parishioners of the area.

Novenas will be held on Saturday at 6.30 pm followed by Vespes and procession along the streets of Kollupitiya. The festive High Mass will be held on Sunday at 8 am by Chief Celebrant Rev Dr Joseph Spitteri, Apostolic Nuncio.

The Proclamation of the Diamond Jubilee of St Anthony's Church, Kollupitiya which falls on June 2013, will be made during the feast.
