Nirnamika Amata out

The latest collection of Sinhala poems by Professor Sunanda Mahendra is titled as ‘Nirnamika Amata’ published by Dayawansa Jayakody publishers.

Professor Mahendra is a recipient of the State Award for Sinhala poetry in 2006.

‘Nirnamika Amata’ is experimental and and attempt to rediscover a new form of poetic expression.

His collection of Buddhist poems, ‘Suta Kavi’ won the Buddhist literary award in 2009.

His collection of English poems titled ‘An Inner Eye’ was discussed at a literary forum held in New Delhi in 2008.
