Kingswood College scored their second win for the season when they defeated D S Senanayake College by 52 points (6 goals, 2 tries) to 14 (2 goals) in their Singer Shield schools under 19 division one segment A rugby tournament match played at the Bogambara stadium, Kandy on Saturday.

At half time Kingswood College led 26-7.

A Kingswoodian victory was always in the card as they lost narrowly to both Royal College and Trinity College in their last two games underlying the fact that they had struck form late in the season.

This win by the Kingswoodians will insulate them from being demoted next season.
