Lankans must go hard and wrap up the series
The Sri Lankan cricketers now that they are
leading the Five-match one day series 2-1,must not relax or let
complacency set in, but go hard at the Pakistanis in the final game
at the R.Premadasa Stadium, today. A 3-1 victory will be sweet
revenge. The Pakistanis won the one-day series in the desert and the
Lankans must avenge that defeat and another victory will be ample
compensation for those defeats.

Sri Lanka lose to Pakistan
Sri Lanka lost to the defending champions of the
Asian Beach Games, Pakistan (22-55) when the Beach Handball events
took place at the Haiyang beach on Saturday. The power-packed
Pakistanis who secured the beach handball crown at the second Asian
Beach Games held in Iran, hung on to an early lead from the
beginning and kept on going.

Much fancied Navy SC posted their second
consecutive victory in the Division ‘A’ Dialog Rugby League when
they beat Police SC by 31 points (one goal, three tries, two
penalties and a drop goal) to 17 ( two goals and a penalty) at the
