Crusaders clinch Donovan Andree trophy

Crusaders Sports Club won the all-island Division two inter-club cricket tournament organized by Sri Lanka Cricket for the Donovan Andree Trophy when they beat Narammala Sports Club by 27 runs in the final played at the FTZ grounds, Katunayake.

Taking the first lease Crusaders Sports Club made 192 runs with Vinuth Elpitiyage top scoring with 51 runs and Manjula Cooray contributed 36 runs and Malith de Silva was the pick of the bowlers for Narammala Sports Club with 3 for 39. In reply Narammala Sports Club were all out for 165 with Thilan Bandara unbeaten on 35 runs Suresh Silva captured 4 for 41 for the winner.
