Ganja worth Rs 60 m seized

The Panadura Anti- Corruption Unit seized 250 kilogrammes of ganja worth Rs 60 million in Hambehamuwa last week. Police also took into custody eight suspects and a weapon from their possession. The raid was carried out on a tip-off.The suspects will be produced before the Wellawaya magistrate court.
