Hilton Fun Run on December 18
The Hilton Colombo Residence (HCR) is all set to
conduct the Hilton Fun Run for the ninth consecutive time on
December 18, 2011 from 9.00 AM. Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel will be
the main sponsor while Athletic Association of Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka
Tourism, Bolt Gear and DSI AVI will be the other partners for this
event. There will be six categories, namely men’s open, women’s open
, men’s over 45, women’s over 45, boys’ under 12 and girls’ under
12. For the under 12 children’s events, owing to the celebratory
season, the hotel will have Santa Claus participating along with the
children.

Pakistan eye win after Younis double ton
Younis Khan cracked an unbeaten double-century
and Asad Shafiq made his maiden hundred as Pakistan closed in on
victory in the first Test against Bangladesh on Sunday. Younis
smashed a solid 200 not out and Shafiq an impressive 104 as Pakistan
posted 594-5 declared in their first innings in reply to
Bangladesh's 135 in Chittagong.
