Hilton Fun Run on December 18

The Hilton Colombo Residence (HCR) is all set to conduct the Hilton Fun Run for the ninth consecutive time on December 18, 2011 from 9.00 AM. Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel will be the main sponsor while Athletic Association of Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Tourism, Bolt Gear and DSI AVI will be the other partners for this event. There will be six categories, namely men’s open, women’s open , men’s over 45, women’s over 45, boys’ under 12 and girls’ under 12. For the under 12 children’s events, owing to the celebratory season, the hotel will have Santa Claus participating along with the children.

The event will be held on a grand scale this year too, and is expected to attract hundreds of participants. It also expected to give a massive boost for the tourism industry.

Valuable cash prizes will be awarded for the first three places in each category.

The Fun Run entry application forms are available at the Hilton Colombo Residence Sports Centre (located on level 3) and Mobitel head office Located at 108, W.A.D.Ramanayake Mw, Col 2. Entries will close on December 16 at 6.30 PM.
