Condominium boom continues

‘OnThree20’ already pre-booked:

Over 300 units out of the 475-unit ultra luxury condominium “OnThree20” built at Union Place, Colombo 2 have been pre booked. This may be the first instance in Sri Lanka that over 70 percent of a condominium has been pre-booked even before the piling is completed, clearly underlining the demand for city living, Chief Architect of the Project Athula Amarasekera said.

Boost for research based industries in budget

Holcim Lanka is encouraged by this year’s budget proposal to go ahead with their plan to invest US$ 350 million to upgrade three plants in Trincomalee, Puttalam and Galle. Holcim Lanka General Manager Asela Iddawela said the company has the raw material to increase local cement production in the long run.
