Hemas posts Rs 10b turnover in first half

For the six months ended September 30, 2011, the Hemas Holdings grew its topline by 17% to record a consolidated turnover of Rs 10.0bn. Revenue growth was driven by Leisure and Power sectors, which posted 37% and 31% increases in revenue respectively. Group gross profit showed a growth of 9%, reflecting a marginal decline in the gross profit margins to 31%, from 33% achieved the previous year.

Expolanka posts Rs 668 m PAT for 1H 2011-2012

Expolanka Holdings PLC sustained its consolidated NPAT for the first half of FY 2011/12 at Rs 668 mn, with a consolidated NPBT at Rs 862 mn. These results have been achieved against the backdrop of the many challenges faced by the Group in the international trading sector with its global economic downturn, coupled with the regional, economic and political issues that prevailed in the Middle East.

JKH Group ups first half profits

The JKH Group has posted revenues of Rs 17.44 billion and Rs 33.13 billion in the second quarter and the first half of 2011/2012 were 25 percent and 23 percent above the Rs 13.97 billion and Rs 26.89 billion recorded in the corresponding periods in the previous year, Chairman Susantha Ratnayake said in his report.
