The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Response Team has received information that facebook accounts are made in the name of the mythical monster, senior information security engineer Rohana Palliyaguru told the Daily News.

"Some are trying to deceive and mislead the public while creating such facebook accounts and such things will be a threat to national security as well, he added.

According to Palliyaguru they are trying to prove that they are the Grease Devils while publishing details such as how they became the Grease Devil, who can become a Grease Devil and at what time they should start their prowling. "However, there has been no complaints about these Grease Devil's accounts," he said.

Palliyaguru urged Sri Lankan facebook members to complain to the facebook company against the Grease Devils' Facebook accounts which can be a threat to national security.
