Schools in poll areas closed on July 22

The Education Ministry yesterday said that all schools in areas where Local Government election are to be held, will be closed on July 22.

According to ministry sources, four schools in four districts where counting centres are to be set up will be closed from today (20) till July 24.

They are Isipathana Vidyalaya, Colombo, Thakshila Vidyalaya, Gampaha, St Andrew's College, Puttalam and Kegalle Balika Vidyalaya.
