Theraputta trounce St Servatius

Theraputta National School won their under 13 division three second round match against St Servatius College, Matara 'B' team by 10 wickets at the Devinuwara Pradeshiya Sabha grounds on Thursday.

On winning the toss St Servatius elected to bat and were bowled out for 54 runs with Isuru Madushan claiming 8/24, Malinda Shehan scored 15 with two fours and one six while Harsha Mohotti scored 9 runs. The Theraputta openers Isuru Madushan 11 and Yasiru Pramuditha 40 off 18 deliveries which included three fours and four sixes knocked up 55 runs in just 4.4 overs taking on the weather gods and the St Servatius bowlers seconds before the ground was inundated.
