Achchuveli Industrial Estate:
India provides Rs 235 million
The Indian Government has provided Rs 235 million
as a grant while the Sri Lanka Government has also provided Rs 45
million to support the establishment of the Achchuveli Industrial
Estate in Jaffna, Traditional Industries and Small Enterprise
Development Ministry Secretary, P. Sivagnanasothy told Daily News

investment of 25 million Sterling Pounds. A top ranking team from
the British university is expected to make the official announcement
of this project early February next year.

currently estimated at US $ 390 million and expected to grow by 26
