MHS lead Group ‘E’

Methodist High School, Puwakaramba, Moratuwa were unbeaten in the all first and second round matches and became leaders of the ‘E’ group of Division three and qualified for the pre quarter finals when they beat Walala A. Ratnayake Central College by eight runs.

In reply to MHS total of 161 visitors were bowled out for 153 runs and for the Methodians Asiri Wasantha scored 53 runs and for Walala Central S. Tennekoon had a fine performance of 6 for 33 and 72 runs but his effort was no avail.
