A large haul of weapons safely packed and buried in a well near the Kilinochchi-Paranthan-Umayajapurapuram resettled village was recovered by the police Special Task Force on August 28 evening.Northern Province Special Task Force commander SSP K M Jayaweera said the weapons are in good condition and have been packed in four layers inside huge boxes to avoid water leaking into the weapons.
