Comedy for international stage
Popular comedian Tenyson Cooray met well-known playwright and
producer Sisil Gunasekara after 15 years, in Melbourne and initiated
work for a comedy stage play to be shown internationally.
The “Muharath” was staged at the Frinton Hall in Melbourne with the
patronage of Western Victorian Social Service and Elders Society.
The occasion was graced by Parliament candidate Damon Ryder,
Candidate for Senate Ms Susan, representative Steve Hatton, Director
Sisil Gunasekara and Tenyson Cooray.
The play will have a cast including Tenyson Cooray, Jagath Chamila
and Maninda Pathirage and will be staged in all the countries where Sri
Lankans are domiciled. |
