NCCSL business delegation to Hambantota
The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) will take a
business delegation comprising businessmen from the Western Province to
Hambantota on Friday, September 3.
The main objective of the proposed delegation is to meet the business
community in Hambantota and discuss the possibilities of
inter-provincial business transactions, joint venture and other business
related opportunities arising after the Government’s mega development
projects such as the Hambantota new harbour, the Film City and the
proposed airport.
It has been predicted that with the new port, Hambantota will be one
of the most important business hubs in South Asia as it is situated in
the international shipping route.
The delegation on their first day of arrival will meet the business
community in Hambantota at the Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce
and Industry and on the second day they will visit the Hambantota
harbour, the Film City and the proposed airport in Mattala. |
