Workshop on risk governance

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is organising a workshop on Risk Governance targeting corporate directors, chief financial officers and senior auditors.

The workshop will be held on September 3 and 4, at the Galle Face Hotel Grand Ballroom.

The faculty for the workshop will comprise eminent international industry practitioners and skilled educators. International Risk Management Conference Chair Professor Oliviero Rogg, IFC, Senior Corporate Governance Officer Dr. Maxine Garvey, and Professor Torben Andersen of Copenhagen Business School will speak.

The sessions will be highly interactive and will wind up with a panel discussion on ‘Local Issues in Risk Governance: Enterprise risk management in our region’ which will give the participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and strategies on managing risks.
