Electricity consumers and their rights, responsibilities
The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka will introduce a legal
document to educate the 4.5 million electricity consumers in the country
about their rights and responsibilities.
This proposed statement/document aimed at ensuring a better and
efficient electricity service to consumers will also bring about a
better understanding and liaison between Ceylon Electricity Board and
the public. The PUCSL had launched a series of awareness programs last
years with workshops at district level towards achieving this objective,
the Commission said. |
