SRK hopes to top success of Slumdog Millionaire
Audiences are waiting with deep breath to see the golden jodi of
Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan and Kajol to ablaze the silver screen again.
Their much awaited flick, My Name Is Khan is slated to release at 60th
annual Berlin International Film Festival on February 12. The movie will
begin unspooling at Liberty cinema on the same day as an EAP

The Karan Johar film tells the story of a Muslim guy Rizwan Khan who
suffers from Asperger syndrome. His illness was mistakenly identified as
‘suspicious behavior’ by US force. After he was treated he began an
extraordinary journey to meet US President Barack Obama to prove his
innocence.
“Shah Rukh is like a bad habit. Once you work with him you are
spoilt,” Kajol opined on sharing the screen with King Khan.
Karan said that working with Shahrukh is like a family affair. “It’s
like working with family. Two brothers start a company, two brothers
build it up and maintain their family and working unit together,” says
Johar.
A year after Slumdog Millionaire raked in eight Oscars, Shahrukh Khan
admitted he’d love to top its success.
“Nobody knows where a film is going to go when you finish it,” he
said. “I think this will touch a lot more people in the Eastern and
Western world than any film has done before.
“I would love it to be a bigger hit than Slumdog.”
