Bringing up good leaders for the future
A leader born of the people and who love the
country cannot work contemplating on votes. He works contemplating
on the future. The parents of these children sacrificed a lot to
bring them up. At one time they even performed guard duty at school
gates. The people of our country were concerned about the security
of the country in the same way as they were concerned about the
security of their children.

Elections for the able and not necessarily for all the willing
Elections are supposed to be enabling exercises.
They allow citizens, for a brief moment (not more than 20 seconds
usually) to be kings and queens. Sorry, king-makers and
queen-makers. A few hours later we have the elected and the electors

Note on voting at Presidential Elections
This note for purposes of voter education is
compiled by the Friday Forum, a gathering of concerned citizens
which includes many distinguished elder citizens. The Forum took the
initiative of preparing this document because of the observation
that many citizens, irrespective of the level of education, are not
fully aware of the manner in which one has to cast the vote at
Presidential elections. This simple step-by-step guide, we hope,
