Greeting cards for a cause

Vijitha Yapa Publications has released 12 beautiful greeting cards, with paintings depicting 12 different themes showing the talents and skills of residential patients of various ages, at the National Institute of Mental Health, Angoda.

These paintings were done in the Art Therapy sessions of the Occupational Therapy Department. Some of the themes, such as 'Tsunami' and 'Shanthi Karmaya' are believed to be the artistic expressions of personal traumas experienced by these individuals.

The royalty from these cards will be used for the Rehabilitation Fund of the Institute.

This is a social responsibility project of the Vijitha Yapa Group of Companies.
