The exhibition will be held in front of Lyceum International School, Anula Vidyalaya and St. Joseph's Girls School along the High Level Road.

Mohan Lal Grero Foundation organises and sponsors the program.

The intention of taking these young talented budding artists the streets is to provide young artists with a wider spectrum of local and international exposure.

The sole aim of embarking on a project of this nature 'A street exhibition of art' is to enlighten the public on the application of art, and this is the 2nd time a street exhibition of this sort has been organised.

Seven hundred oil paintings and batik creations will be displayed at the exhibition.

In an age when the Sri Lankan national consciousness has not been awakened accurately to feel and appreciate nature it is hoped this street exhibition would send a message to the ordinary masses.

A wide selection of rare gorgeous paintings of exquisite beauty and design will be on display for the admirers. The art instructor of the Mohan Lal Grero Foundation a well reputed Somaratna Gomes coordinates the program.

A special feature of this exhibition is that all on-site creations will be on display immediately after the production.

The budding talented young artists are from the free oil painting course conducted by the Mohan Lal Greru Foundation.

Those who are wishing to enroll for the course, here is the opportunity to get registered at the exhibition site itself.

'Love and Life' is the theme of the exhibition.
