Main suspect arrested

The main suspect in the Nawalapitiya, Ketabulawa triple murder of members of the same family including the father, mother and daughter was arrested by Nawalapitiya Police on Monday.

An estate superintendent, his wife and their 21-year-old daughter were murdered in their sleep two months ago by an armed gang which had broken into their house.

Their bodies were found by Police two days after the tragedy. Police made the arrest by following clues obtained by viewing a video film pertaining to their funeral. Investigations are continuing.
