Dharmapala - Nalanda drawn

The rain hit school cricket encounter between Nalanda and Dharmapala ended in a draw with first innings honours going to Dharmapala on the second day at the Bloomfield ground, Reid Avenue yesterday.

Nalanda in reply to Dharmapala's first innings score of 237 were all out for 226 at the stroke of the tea interval when bad light and rain intervened. Nipun Karunanayake (54) was the top run getter for Nalanda.
