Sri Lankans among illegal immigrants arrested in UK

Sri Lankans were among 10 workers arrested during an immigration raid at a Bicester food factory in England.

Twenty UK Border and Immigration officers and two police officers raided the Just Prepared factory in Bainton Close, off Charbridge Way yesterday morning. The 10 workers were all men and aged between 24 and 48 years.

Immigration officers said they originally came from India. Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

Officers are checking paperwork and questioning the men. Oxford Mail
