SPC polls today

Polling from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1,485 stations:

The people of South will vote today to elect 55 members to their Provincial Council. Authorities said polling will take place from 7 am to 4 pm at 1,485 stations, spanning Galle, Matara and Hambantota districts.

When implementing our development plans we had faith that the village community would be able to give us the facts about what the needs of the community were and what resources were available and how the expenditure could be managed without spending unnecessarily, President Mahinda Rajapaksa said.
