PNP confirms anti-neoliberal position
Peru: The Peruvian Nationalist Party (PNP) confirmed Wednesday its
antineoliberal position when it faced a conservative campaign that wants
to mutilate its elector possibilities. A release of the ex-military
Ollanta Humala's party remembers that "it arose from the people's
struggle".
It also pointed that struggle is "against the appeasement policy,
corruption and injustice owing to the brutal capitalist dominance as a
product of neoliberal globalization".
It added "the PNP identifies with the aspiration of all who want to
stop the sacking of our people, to create a State that defends our
sovereignty and promote a national inclusive development". The release
confirms the respect of the opposition party for democracy as a
guarantee for the economic model's big changes and for the political
system in favor of integration and inclusion.
The PNP declares it is beyond the ideological tradition of another
forces, although it finds agreement between this effort and left
organizations for being together in the 2011 elections and in the next
regional and province elections. It added such convergence should be in
a big nationalist, democratic and popular project, which excludes any
kind of "violence and terrorism". Lima, Prensa Latina |
