The National Farmers' Week will be held at Polonnaruwa National Farm
Kaduruwela, from October 11 to 16 by the Agriculture Development and
Agrarian Services Ministry to encourage and appreciate the contribution
made by farmers.
"President Mahinda Rajapaksa wishes to uplift the economy through the
Api Wawamu Rata Nagamu food production program. Farmers should be
encouraged to make the effort successful.
"We are always ready to solve problems of farmers and uplift their
living standards." said Agriculture Development and Agrarian Services
