Cuba, Japan officials meet in Tokyo

Japan: Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Japan, Jose Fernandez de Cossio held a meeting with deputies of the newly elected Japanese Cabinet to talk about the impact and huge damage inflicted by US blockade to Cuba.

Fernandez de Cossio met with parliamentarians Tomoko Abe, from Japan Democratic Social Party and with Masahiko Yamada, Democratic Party, and gave specific details about the issue, diplomatic sources reported. Japanese legislators spoke in favor of playing a more active role in strengthening the links with Cuba and with the rest of Latin American countries.
