Prizes for protecting textbooks

The students who protect the school textbooks will be given prizes this time too. The Education Ministry said. This is to motivate students to carefully use school textbooks.

Students at schools under the purview of Batticaloa Central Educational Zone have been advised by the teachers and Principals that a talented and knowledgable society could be created through only education.

Towards fulfilling this task the Government issues a variety of valuable textbooks costing several million rupees to the students free.
