Remember Udari Warnakulasuriya? The young lady who dazzled moviegoers
with her performance as Dinali in Udayakantha Warnasuriya's Paya Enna
Hiru Se had been offered the role of Sansala in a teledrama based on
Sujeewa Prasannarachchi's popular novel Bonda Meedum.
A delighted Udari shared her views with Daily News 'Projector' by
stating that she is very happy be chosen for the role. "It is a touching
romance between two youngsters. Both young and old have developed a
fondness for Sansala and the sacrifices she made on behalf of love," she
exclaimed on why she took on a role in the teledrama which will most
likely exceed 100 episodes.
Shooting is scheduled to begin in January and young actor Saranga
Dissasekara will accompany Udari in the male lead.
