Hutch launches 'Talk free all day'

Hutch launched its latest offer "Talk Free with Hutch" where, effectively after the first five outgoing calls, the subscriber can call any Hutch number free throughout the day. To prevent abuse and ensure network quality, Hutch's fair user policy limits free usage to 60 minutes per day.

Activation can be done by sending an SMS T5 to 5511. This benefit is offered free to the subscriber. The request SMS is toll free.

Hutch also reduced its outgoing call rates by 50 percent to other networks with the introduction of the H250 tariff plan whereby Hutch outgoing to any network is Rs. 2.50.

To provide convenience and continuous connectivity to its subscribers Hutch now connects incoming calls to subscribers who even have a zero balance in their accounts. This cost effective gesture has attracted a very positive and encouraging response from its subscriber base.

HTLL Chief Executive Officer Shankar Bali said, "We wish to reiterate that the customer is always at the forefront of our business.

We will continue to drive affordability and make our services accessible to all Sri Lankans across the country".

He said that all these offers have been designed to empower subscribers. "They can now choose what is best for them and derive maximum value for their money. Subscribers have loved our Oyai Mamai which allows them to call one number at only 90 cents and 'Value Recharge' which gives 60 night shift minutes free on every reload of Rs. 100".
